About Blue Moose Sports Camp, Inc.

Our mantra is “Building a Stronger Community Through Sports”

But what that really means goes far beyond sports.

🌟 Childhood Then… and Childhood Now

Childhood THEN

For many parents (myself included), childhood was simple.

You woke up, grabbed your bike, knocked on a friend’s door, and didn’t come home until dinner. The neighborhood was your playground. Games were invented, rules were negotiated, arguments were solved, and friendships were built — all through play.

Childhood was:

  • Unplanned

  • Outdoors

  • Social

  • Creative

  • Physically active

  • Full of freedom and imagination

There was no pressure to specialize. No packed schedules. No screens telling you what to do next.
Kids had space to try, fail, adapt, and grow.

Childhood NOW

Today’s kids grow up in a very different world.

  • More screens than sunshine

  • More structure than free play

  • More schedules than spontaneity

  • More pressure to specialize early

  • Less time to just play

Kids are busier than ever — but not always happier.

They have constant input… and fewer chances for joyful output.

🌲 Where Blue Moose Comes In

Blue Moose was created to bring back the best parts of childhood — on purpose.

In a world where kids have:

  • fewer opportunities for unstructured play

  • more screens and distractions

  • more pressure and comparison

Blue Moose creates space for kids to disconnect… so they can reconnect.

Reconnect with:

  • movement

  • creativity

  • friendships

  • imagination

  • confidence

  • joy

The New Blue Moose: Three Pathways, One Heart

As Blue Moose has grown, we realized something important:

Kids come to us for different reasons — and that’s a good thing.

To better serve every child, we’ve organized our programs into three clear pathways, all under the Blue Moose Sports Camp umbrella.

Same values. Same community. Clearer choices.

🏕️ Blue Moose Adventures

Weekly Monday - Friday - 8am-10am, 10:30am-12:30pm, 1pm-3pm - choose the options that work best for you - one session, multiple sessions of FULL DAY

$120 per 2 hour session - $350 for Full Day

PE Class in the Summer

Blue Moose Adventures is our classic, multi-activity camp — the closest thing to the neighborhood play we remember growing up.

Think of it as physical education meets summer fun.

Kids experience:

  • Big group games

  • Outdoor adventures

  • Water days

  • Creative challenges

  • Team-building activities

  • Inflatables, movement, and laughter

  • Daily variety and discovery

Every day feels different. Every child belongs.

Why it’s special

  • Perfect for kids who don’t want to specialize

  • Tons of variety and movement

  • Inclusive and confidence-building

  • Great for all ability levels

This is childhood the way it used to feel — playful, active, and pressure-free.

🎨 Artsy Adventures with Mr. P

Weekly Monday - Friday 9:30am-11am

$100 per week or $30 per day

$75 per week if your child is also enrolled in Blue Moose Adventures

Creativity, Imagination, and Expression

In partnership with Artsy Adventures, Artsy Adventures with Mr. P gives kids a place to slow down, imagine, and create.

This is where creativity takes center stage.

Kids explore:

  • Drawing & illustration

  • Painting & mixed media

  • Clay & sculpture

  • Comics & creative storytelling

Projects are hands-on, age-appropriate, and designed to help kids feel proud of what they create.

Why it’s special

  • Perfect for creative thinkers and makers

  • Builds focus, confidence, and self-expression

  • Smaller group, calm energy

  • A great balance to active play

Artsy Adventures gives kids something equally important as movement: a creative voice.

💙 Blue Moose Gives Kids What Childhood Should Still Have

Freedom. Play. Creativity. Movement. Belonging.

And a community that cheers them on — one day better, every day.

Why Blue Moose Is Evolving

Over the years, Blue Moose Sports Camp has grown far beyond what we first imagined. What began as a summer camp has become a year-round community of families who value play, movement, creativity, and personal growth.

As we listened to our families and watched kids grow within our programs, one thing became clear:

Kids come to Blue Moose for different reasons.

Some kids love variety, adventure, and trying new activities every day.
Some want to dive deeper into sports, build skills, and grow their confidence.
And many want a balance of both.

To better serve every child — and to continue growing in a thoughtful, intentional way — Blue Moose has evolved into a clearer, more flexible structure.

Why We Made This Change

We didn’t change who we are.
We simply organized Blue Moose in a way that makes more sense for families and creates more opportunity for kids.

We evolved because:

  • Blue Moose has grown into more than one type of camp

  • Families asked for clearer choices and pathways

  • Kids deserve programs that match their interests and developmental needs

  • We wanted a future-ready system that supports year-round growth

  • We wanted to expand without losing the heart of Blue Moose

This evolution gives families clarity, kids choice, and Blue Moose the ability to grow into something even greater — while staying rooted in the values that started it all.
